Ltd.; born at Tezpur, Assam, India, 0n Aug. 1, 1961: Completed Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical), from Gauhati University, Diploma in Industrial Management, from International Correspondence School, Mumbai, 1982; LL.B. from Gauhati University, Diploma in Management from Indira Gandhi Open University, Delhi, 1993. Also completed Certified Energy Auditor Examination from Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), New Delhi; Devajit Bhuyan is also a Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India). He has 22 years’ experience in Petroleum and Natural Gas Sector and 15 years in education management. Started his career as Maintenance Engineer in Bongaigaon Refinery (India), 1984-89, Sr. Maintenance Engineer, 1990-94, Deputy Project Manager, 1995-2002, Joint Director, Petroleum Conservation Research Association (Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India), 2002-2005.
